COVID 19

                                     CORONA

To prevent the spread of COVID-19:

•Clean your hands often.

•Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.

•Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

•Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.

•Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

•Stay home if you feel unwell.

•If you have a fever, a cough, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention. Call in advance.

Follow the directions of your local health authority.

WEAR FACE MASK

Masks can be worn to protect the wearer from getting infected or masks can be worn to protect others from being infected by the wearer. Protecting the wearer is difficult: It requires medical-grade respirator masks, a proper fit, and careful putting on and taking off. But masks can also be worn to prevent transmission to others, and this is their most important use for society. If we lower the likelihood of one person’s infecting another, the impact is exponential, so even a small reduction in those odds results in a huge decrease in deaths. Luckily, blocking transmission outward at the source is much easier.

SOCIAL DISTANCE

Social distancing, also called physical distancing, is a set of measures taken to prevent the spread of a contagious disease by maintaining a physical distance between people and reducing the number of times people come into close contact with each other.

SELF QUARANTINE

A Quarantine is a restriction on the movement of people and goods which is intended to prevent the spread of disease or pests. It is often used in connection to disease and illness, preventing the movement of those who may have been exposed to a communicable disease, but do not have a confirmed medical diagnosis. It is distinct from medical isolation, in which those confirmed to be infected with a communicable disease are isolated from the healthy population.
